A midwesterner at heart, I grew up in Michigan and studied Visual Communication at Arizona State University before moving to New York in 2007 to pursue a career focused on fashion and retail. After 10 years working in-house at large retailers and some side projects helping friends develop small businesses I wanted to get back to my roots and focus on identity design. Enter Smash And Co.
My process is rooted in thoughtful balance, always striving to find the right mix of old and new, simple yet unique, clean but interesting. I believe design is about storytelling and problem solving and offer clients a unique sensibility that balances aesthetic priorities with business needs.
Brooklyn is where I call home with my husband Jonathan and our toddler, Isabel. I'm an introvert, a coffee addict, a lover of bonfires. I am passionate about all things design and have the ultimate love/hate relationship with New York. My clients a colleagues tease me for a love of white space and small typography.
